Don't think this has been mentioned, but MP10 or MP10ES can be upgraded to MP10W ES. For the MP10 you need to purchase a new ES driver, but with the MP10ES all that's required is the addition of the wireless module inside the existing driver. This upgrade can be carried out by you, the end user.
As far as recommending what you should get for your tank, my vote is 2 x MP40W ES if you can. You can always start with one MP40 and add a second when you're better able to afford it. Keep posting to get your count up to 50 (I think). Then you can start cruising the buy/sell forum and look for deals on used VorTechs. May sound like overkill, but don't forget that they can be dialed down. This will make your system more upgrade proof and MP40s running at a lower speed will run quiet, cool and efficient. If you decide to go with the 10s, you'll be running them at close to max speed for adequate flow in your 3 foot tank.
