Vortech Slave Speed

Hi,

I just set up a reeflink today and I'm just about finished configuring the schedules for my pumps. I currently have one mp40 on one side of the aquarium, mp10 opposing, and another mp10 on the back of the aquarium. I have the mp40 as the master, while the other as slaves.

Prior to setting up the reeflink, I had the slave pumps operate at a higher percentage compared with the mp40 to match the flow. After setting up the reeflink however, the slave pumps now operate at the same percentage as the master mp40, which would mean that the flow is weaker.

How would I go about adjusting the speed of the slave pumps without disrupting the schedule I have for the pumps?

Thanks!

Notquiterite,

You can set the max speed of any pump by clicking on that specific VorTech under the VorTech schedule page of ESL.

Hi Alex,

This seems to only work if I have the slave pump set under another program such as nutrient transport, reef crest, etc. If the pump is under slave, it will only allow me to change it between sync and anti-sync, not the pump speed.

Notquiterite,

You will only be able to set the slave speed by using the website. If you are using the ESL app, you will not be able to do so.

Got it, I can see it now. Thank you so much :)

I have one more question, I have the reeflink positioned on a countertop next to the radion but sometimes it loses connection to the devices and I have to press the small reset button on the back of the device to reconnect. I'm pretty sure it's not my network as I am consistently connected. I have also updated to the latest firmware. Would you possibly know what the reason for this is?
