Vortech Stall

I have 2 MP40W power heads on my 150g bowfront reef. They worked great for about a year, and one day last week, one of them stalled. I haven't been able to get it working again and looking for advice. I've soaked it in vinegar, didn't help. I swapped the wet sides between the 2 MP40's and it seems the wet side is where the problem lies. I've tried rotating it and moving it up and down until my arm turned blue but didn't help.

Anyone with experience with vortechs have advice?

Have you completely disassembled the wet side? There is not much to them. WHen you remove the back of the wet side can you spin it freely?

yes. took it completely apart and put it back together. I can spin the propeller freely. When I turn it back on, it stalls.

I had an issue with one of mine, i sent it back and they fixed it. Was a bad thermal overload in the motor, mine was under warranty and the service was excellent and quick
