Vortech Stalling

I am having a problem with both of my pumps stalling. It seems to happen every few weeks and I had hoped that once I got the wireless drivers it would stop. It hasn't..It's as if the nut that hold the propeller in place tightens up and the propeller stops, causing pump seperation. I have to play around with it until the nut is just right before it starts working again. What could be the problem?

Hi Julie,

When all parts are manufactured within specs and tolerances, it should not matter how tight the nut is tightened. In fact, the proper tightness for that nut is very tight. In your situation, something is not right. Please contact service@ecotechmarine.com with a description of your problem so that Dave can make recommendations and take proper action to repair your pump.
