Will be glad to see what the interface is like for the Apex. Whenever I upgrade I'll either do an Ocean Motions or MP40's.
Also, I haven't had any issues with the software on mine.

I'm merely implying its hard for an experience to occur without owning said object. I'm glad you had the troubleshooting experience, though, and I'm only ribbin' ya, man.

I got my controller in time for 1.09...which was out a good part of 08 and into early 09. I experienced random shut-down issues, PH calibration Issues, and even after 1.10 I was one of the lucky few who had shutdown issues continue. 1.11 I saw life get better, and found a small bug (i think) and then had the PC4 1.12 beta and SL1 1.12 beta that solved any measure of problem.
Remember, I bought mine end of 08 and got it in early 09.
Certainly not the earliest adopter out there, but earlier than anyone in the club that we know of (for an RKE).

You mentioned the problems of last year and I was fairly certain you had only bought your controller this year.
I was very fortunate and have not had any of the shutdown issues. I think it happened once, actually, but that was the only time I ever saw it.
