agreed.i'm still shocked that last night when i walked in the meeting she had eveything set up for me to become and orca member.it looks like she devotes time to make orca members feel appreciated.thanks mel.

Thanks everyone, I am flattered. For personal reasons, I would have to decline such a nomination.
I really don't think I could do it as well as Matt did. I am simply the admin side of it and the backup person for Matt.
Don't worry though, we will stay involved in the club and help where we can.

However, I would ONLY take on the role of President if Sytanek were Vice President, Cowboyswife were Membership Director, Lusenut2 were Public Relations and Mike A were Secretary.
SO there are my nominations for 2008.

While I agree with everyone else, I have no doubt that Mel would be an awsome President, you must realize that Mel and I are a team that does pretty much everything together... So when we sit down together and plan for our meetings and discuss ORCA business we're both pretty much in sync. She has truly been functioning as the back bone of this club. I am in awe of what's she's done for this club.

That being said, it's time for us to pass the torch on to new ORCA blood. There's so much new talent in this club I know we're going to be in good hands.

Time to get serious and think about those who will ensure the club maintains it's forward progress. I'm asking everyone to take this request very seriously. Because without strong committed leadership, ORCA will suffer and the meetings will suffer.

I don't think I know enough of the members to be a good VP, but if we had Mel as Pres, I think I could pull it off. Oh yeah, and we just have to convince our PR guy that ORCA Meetings are definitely more important than partying. rofl.
