Hello all,

I have a fairly new 60g reef tank with a lettuce sea slug in. Where the sea slug has been hanging out, there is now this. Are these eggs? It looks like a worm, but when I hit it with the vaster feeder, it broke & didn't squirm away. It's stuck to the glass.

It reminds me of a very dense version of snail eggs...except circular...& well defined. Ok, maybe it's nothing like snail eggs. I'm grasping at straws here. Lmao

Ok, maybe I should google before panicking. Haha It is sea slug eggs. I honestly don't know how it happened bcos I only have 1. I also wish I wouldn't have blasted it with the baster feeder now. Well, I guess we'll see what turns up.

there does not need to be 2 for there to be eggs. take the chicken for example. hens lay eggs all day long regardless of the presence of roosters
