Wahoo - ProfiLux 6 NOW Available

Get the one that Best Buy has. they work perfectly. Just be sure to download the driver from the profilux site. I have been using PLC6 for a few days now, and it's awesome. Just takes a while to navigate.

One word of advice. install and run PLC6 FIRST, and save settings in PLC6 before upgrading any firmware. I had to revert back to PLC5 twice to get my settings back.

Does that mean PLC6 will work with older version of firmware? What firmware version did you have before upgrading?

We are pleased to announce ProfiLux PLC6 is now available for download to everyone, this is the free version. The Pro Version will follow in time

I was running 5.04a, and yes PLC6 works fine with it. I used PLC6 to save my settings from firmware 5.04a. Then upgraded to 5.05f, and then uploaded my newly saved settings.

Only a few bugs so far. If you use the built in web server, it will not save your password, so anyone who figures out your address will be able to control your profilux...a little scary.

Thanks, that's good to know! I can try out the PLC6 from a different computer to get familiar with it. I can't get to my PIII from outside of my lan anyway so I am not worried about the security flaw.
