Wait lists

I was wondering if you guys could clear up some things for me. I would like to be added to your wait lists for a Male flame wrasse, prefer a pair...and for a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse. I contacted ya'll via pm here and beleive that I was put on a waiting list however I received the following email and am not sure if I'm on the list or not. Is there a list? If there is a list then I assume that these fish will not be offered via diver's den until the list is exhuasted. Also, I was wondering if there is a particular time of year when wrasses are easier to attain?

These specimens are rare finds and usually come in unexpectedly in shipments and we are unable to order them through our vendors. We do not expect having these specimens available within the next couple months and would encourage you to continue checking our Divers Den for this rare species. Thank you for choosing Drs. Thank you for your post. We apologize for any confusion generated from our PM conversations. We will be happy to add your name to our request list for the Flame Wrasse pair and the McCosker’s Flasher Wrasse. We have your e-mail address from your previous PM and we will inform you if these fish become available. Any fish obtained for the request list will be offered to the listed customers before being offered on Diver’s Den.

There really is not a specific time all Wrasse are available due to being wild caught.

Well, I just have to say that I never received an email or a phone call about an available McCosker's Flasher Wrasse which I thought I was on the waitlist for. I was lucky enough to find one in the Diver's Den section today and purchased that one.

I also had the other flasher wrasse (Paracheilinus filamentosus) from the diver's den in my basket and hit finalize order, never getting the thank you screen. I hit the button 3 seperate times. By the time I called customer service, someone else had already purchased that wrasse. I have to say that I'm a little disappointed on both counts.

We are sorry to hear that you were unable to purchase the Paracheilinus filamentosus, and apologize that you did not receive an e-mail notification when the McCosker’s Flasher Wrasse was available. Our request list shows that you are still listed for a Flame Wrasse pair. We will take the necessary steps to make sure that you are properly notified when this pair is available. Additionally, we would be happy to include the Paracheilinus filamentosus to the request list for you, so that you can order it when we get another one in again. Please let us know if you would like this done.

I want to let everyone know that Live Aquaria called and that all the confusion I had about the wait lists, my disappointments, etc were resolved beyond my expectations. :D

I've bought many products from Dr.'s Foster and Smith and several fish from Live Aquaria and their customer service can not be beat! Hands down, they like to make sure their customers are happy since they know it means that they will shop with them again.
