Today I was out and about and before going in to Target I decided to stop in the Petco just to see what they had (looking for a 37 gal tank).....First of all the most interesting thing was that all the fresh water tanks had the lights off and signs all over the tanks saying that the fish were under observation and couldn't be sold (probably getting rid of the ick I see there every time I go in!)
As I was looking at the salt water tanks (not much there), I overheard a couple talking about setting up a salt water tank. I offered some advice, answered some questions, and told them about reef central and our group.....funny thing was I was wearing my CDMAS shirt, which was pointed out LOL. Not sure about CDMAS group (they were from Bennington Vt), but the are certainly going to check out reef central.
Guess the shirts are a walking advertisement for our group LOL!
It was the first time I wore it too.....felt like they listened to my advice more because I was a member of a marine aquarist society (the shirt was proof LOL)!
