Wall Mounted RO/DI Units

Just curious how everyone does them. I'm thinking a piece of 1x6 board long enough to reach a couple studs, then mount RO/DI to it?

I'm jealous. I don't have a fish room, nor plumbing in the garage. I have all my RO/DI equipment stuffed under the kitchen sink. It's a real pain to work with.

Mine is mounted on the cement block wall in the basement using tap-cons. I would suggest two screws in to each stud just for good measure. Probably not needed, but can't hurt.

Mine's mounted to a 2x4 above the deep sink in my shop. It's been there well over 15 years.

Mine has been supported by 2 molly anchors on a construction grade cabinet wall for over 2 years. No issues.

Just got my unit. Thinking avout doing this, but on a french cleat in case I Ned to move it for any reason.
