Walt Disney Acro

I know there are a few reefers who have this bad boy, was wondering what the growth rate is like? Also, what have you found to be the best placement for it?

My frag is coming in today and want to make sure I have the correct real estate for it!

Hey that's how I always use to feel too. Tenuis seem to do well in my tank, at least so far, so hoping this baby stays the same.

I hope you sensed my joke. Anyway, congrats and I really hope it does well for you. Which vendor did you buy it from? It's a nice piece for sure!!! Super awesome colors. Post a pic of yours

Oh, 100% got it haha. I really did actually say that to people who grabbed a frag.

I got it from All Delight. Excited to see what it looks like in the tank. I'll try and grab a pic tonight after work.

I'd be excited and handle it with golden gloves!!! Lol
$350+?

Seriously! I'm happy I finally have a legitimate stand out piece.

And that's about the price, but that's the reason there's a benefit to having gift cards and credit card rewards. They help bring prices down very quickly.

I have had it for a year. It's a good grower. I will haven't got the crazy colors yet. It needs to be blasted with blue light.

Best picture and is a couple months old. My newborn doesn't allow much free time

Well, long night. I was able to take some pics and of course, photo bucket is now doing maintenance...my luck. Not that it matters as my white balance editing ability is horrible (if someone knows how to do this well, PM me! I'm new to the whole RAW photography and white balance thing.)

I will post some of the pictures tomorrow, but I will say right now: in 17k lighting, this beauty looks exactly as advertised. It's just a frag so all I'm seeing is purple with the fluorescent green polyps, but I can't wait to see the pink and lime green hues on the body. Luckily it's been sitting for a couple weeks as well, so it's already begun to encrust. Will be glueing into a permanent home later this week!

Oh and when I put the light to 20k.....WOW

Thanks. There is more pink in it than what the photo shows. Right now it is browned out as I drastically changed the lighting and am dealing with some nutrient problems. They have been sorted out and are coming down so I expect color to return.

Is that a Walt Disney!?? I usually see photos with lots of actinic led light and photoshop of course but if that is a WD maybe mine is too!???

I can't tell 100% because obviously, whatever lighting it is in makes a difference, but in this picture it doesn't look like the polyps are the same as the WD. They should be a bright, almost fluorescent green/yellow.

But still, awesome looking piece!

Agreed with above a Walt Disney usually has bright yellow polyps, That said yours look better than most of the frags I have seen out there lately.

Most of the frags I have seen do not have any pink/red or very little. Either most of the frags are fakes or people are really having a hard time holding on too the color..

Since my photo shopping abilities are completely lacking...here's a picture of my frag from the person I bought it. And then below, a picture I edited a bit (this looks funky in the background, but this is EXACTLY what the colors look like in person under 17k lighting. Can't wait to see the polyps extended in 20k

Is this the hottest SPS lately or are their others that people covet more? I have been out of the game for a while and researching a new tank. I heart SPS.

Did you buy it as Walt Disney acro from a reputable person? This is your answer. I would guess no because of your location.
