Walt Disney Acro

Ok. Here's an initial iPhone shot of my supposed WD.
This is in air, under a pair of t5 over my work sink.
I think the t5 are a pink and 20k bulb. I've warmed up the pic

I'll get some in tank shots a little later.

I'll chime in with a quick pic. My 2 colonies both hail directly from BigR Corals.
This is a phone picture, unedited.

WD is only nice under 20k.
No way any of these WD will look good in my 10k lighting T5.
My white is real white, My yellow is real yellow, My blue is real blue
Google what ATI use for their 10,000k spectrum combo.
Most modern leds are tune to 12,000k to 14,000k spectrum when all the leds are put 100% full power.

I just got a great deal on a frag so I had to do it. It's definitely a nice coral and I'm excited to watch it grow out.

I tried to get a somewhat decent and realistic pic of my frag. I'm a terrible photographer and I'm using my phone. It is a very nice coral but I couldn't capture its true colors. It has hints of pink and purple that I hope will intensify when I put it into my frag tank. I will say it looks better in person than it does in my pic. It's in QT at the moment and it has been dipped twice. Walt Disney on the left, Homewrecker on the right

Here's my WD photo under Kessil AP700 (daylight setting) and T5 (blue+ and coral+).

This is what I see in person. Under the blue setting on the Kessil, the pink parts look more purple and the body looks greenish.

Thanks mate - that is a very beautiful shot of the WD.
Good work mate and thank you :wavehand:

all these pictures look great.

i just cant stomach spending $300 for a frag that I can only really enjoy during a limited window of the day, or even worse showing it to people and having to say 'i know it looks like nothing special right now, but trust me, it looks great around 10 at night.' The best corals look great all throughout your lighting period

Yeah man. I just can't pay 300 for a 1/2 inch or even a 1 inch frag of anything. Prices have gone crazy these past few years with frags and zoas.
