Hi

I wanna set up a 16G NPS tank, what should i get to make it work?

as far as i read i will need :
1. a good flow like 100x times the volume of the tank, which looks crazy to me OMG 1600GPH insane ;p
2.lightning just for looking at those beautiful corals ;p 24w is ok?
3.LR
4.sand i will use aragonite dry sand

and thats it all i can think of ;p

So what do you say? I wanna make it right, so help me out in this set up

thanks

What do you plan on keeping? If you want to get into dendronephthya, fine polyp gorgians and such, you might want to install an autofeeder.
Also, you didn't include any mechanical filtration? A skimmer would be a must IMO.
I don't know where you live but you might also need a chiller.

i wanna keep lps nps , i will get weipro sa 2011 protein skimmer, and the max temp in my room during summer is 27, can i use cooling fan?

Probably ok. Your corals will be happier if you can get the temps down to 24-25. In that size tank, maybe a good fan is enough. You can look into getting an iceprobe chiller too. Good luck and keep us updated!
