Ok so I want led but idk what ones to get my tank specs are 60 long 18 wide 24 deep but the kicker is its a old oceanic tank with a glass plate in the middle and worried about light getting through the glass plate the tank right now has a 6 bulb t5 48 inch nova extreme on it the tank has sps lps clam zoas all kinda stuff please help me pick out lights

A couple maxpect razor 16k fixtures, the ones with 3 sets of LEDs, I forget the length 24" maybe?
A couple kessil 350a would be nice for a simple LED light.

A lot of people like the evergrow/reefbreeders LEDs.

If you have money to burn the radion pro & GHL mitras have all the bells & whistles/programmable.

I don't run LEDs myself but these are very popular.

Tao Tronics

Tao Tronics

I have a TaoTronics unit on my 29 gallon reef setup that I purchased at a very good price on Amazon. In My opinion this is a very well made product and puts out! It was just over 150 bucks and is almost too much for my tank and gives of VEEEEERRRYYY little heat. Almost non existant as far as heat goes. My soft corals, fish and pollips have been growing very well with nice color in the blue light mode. Here is the link to the one I purchases and they have other models that might suit you better. All affordable but you will probably need to get 2 units for that size tank

I'm happy with the buildmyled.com LEDs I have. If you're looking for something from a big name brand, I'd take a look at Kessil pendants. Do you have/are you getting a controller?

Honestly, there are a lot of good options. I'd try to figure out a budget for starters, and then go from there.

This is as good a place as any for my first post.

After speaking with Nick from builmyled.com for 30 minutes yesterday, I'd give them a shot. In fact I'm going to go with them on my 375g DT build that I started last week.

It would not surprise me at all to see them take over the Marine LED market soon.
