Want to trade my 38gallon sump for smaller sump.

Hello everyone!

I have a sump that I BELIEVE to be a 38 gallon tank (36"x13"x19-20"). It is a standard glass tank, with 2 partitions in one end setup as an return or intake and then an overflow wall to divide off a refuge area (would also be a bubble trap). I was planning on siliconing in another piece of glass to use as a return, but unfortunately, I wasn't taking into account the size of my stand, and it's too tall. I would LOVE to trade for a tank or sump that is off the dimensions 36"x13"x13" (or less!). I mainly need a sump for equipment, but would like to have a refuge as well. If you have something to trade (anything, actually) let me know.

I have a 24x12x? I think it is 16" Tall but i may be off I will have to look when I get home but I know it is taller then 13"

Ah Crud, mine is only about 16" tall, I forgot until I crawled around under there, the sump AND the skimmer are too tall, I'm just going to move the stand away from the wall and stick the sump and skimmer behind it. Oh well.

I put my sump on the side of the tank and fixin to build some sort of stand to cover it.... Then connect another tank to it....

I'd love to do that, but I've got a closet in the room between my two tanks. I think I can put it behind, and build some sort of a cover to use as more storage for stuff. For my 90, I'm going to have to build a shelving unit to hide my topoff and electrical stuff. I cannot WAIT to own a house again so I can build a big closet to hide everything.

Now I want a bigger house to have a fish room...lol....With 3 dogs, 4 birds, and 3 tanks....we kinda ran outta room....

I hear that. My house currently is big enough, but we are renting it, and plan to move, otherwise the owner is a close friend and would let me do whatever I wanted to. The layout is just not quite right, EXCEPT that there is a 250ish square foot room that's mostly empty next to the living room that would make an AWESOME fish room to have an in-wall tank from. I wanted to do a 300 or so in-wall to the living room, and then I'd have plenty of room for several other tanks, all tied together and a few rubbermaid troughs. Either that, or an indoor salt pond for rays!
