Wanted: Corner Aquarium

I currently have a 20 gallon rectangular tank but am looking to upgrade to possibly the 54 gallon corner model. Unfortunately, our family room can't accommodate much larger than that.
Also, any thoughts/suggestions from people using corner models? Do you like them?
Thanks in advance.

Hows the ice on Black Otter lake doing?

Got the one year itch to upgrade? Are you looking to stay within a certain width with a corner model or are you trying to get multiple angle of viewing? Don't see many corner units for sale around here, you may want to look at some of the Oceanic Cube style tanks that are square instead of rectangular.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm leaning toward the corner model because the multiple viewing angle (as well as space issues). Although LFS have told me that corals would do better in a longer tank (reason for this?)
36g corner seems to be popular, but I don't know if it's big enough. I would like to have a tang (or two) and add some variety to my corals (still a newbie).

You may be able to do on tang in a tank that small, two definitely not (not in my opinion, anyway). 4-foot tank minimum, 75g+ preferred for one.

Corner tank should be fine for most corals, though may be tougher to illuminate than standard tanks.

I have a 46g bowfront tank for sale if you can't find a corner...

Welcome Musicgirl!
I currently have a 72 bowfront. A couple of things I have noticed with the curved front are:
1. Tough to take certain photos (if you like doing that)
2. Certain curves take more effort to clean than a straight pane of glass.
3. Total view thru the front seems "better" than a straight sided tank.
If you are going to keep tangs get larger than a 36 (even one tang will grow large for that size tank).

Whole setup...I sent you a PM on it.

I've got lots of other setups available as well...trying to downsize. Have a complete 75g setup (tank, stand, canopy) and some other various...55s...etc. etc.
