Wanted to pair up dwarf angels.....

I have an african flameback angel and was looking to try and pair it up. I've never heard of anyone keeping a pair of these angels but I don't mind giving it a try.

First thing I need is......some sort of safe haven for the new (much smaller) angel. Any ideas? Somehow, I'd like to use something to divide the tank.....maybe perforated acrylic, so they can see each other and still allow water flow. Maybe something that I can hang from the top of my tank into the aquarium.....? Is there anything out there being sold that I can purchase? OR if you guys have some better idea let me hear it .


Either way if it fails, I'm sure I can find someone to take the flameback angel from me.

Use Eggcrate. That is, if the angels can't fit through it. Eggcrate is in the lighting dept. at Home Depot for approx. 12.00 for a 4x4 sheet.

Eggcrate....I'll have to check that out.....how big are the openings?

I think that the openings are approx. 3/8" or 1/2". Not sure though.
