Hello all NJ reefers. I am Evan Manaresi , I am 22 years old and have recently (4 days ago) resuccumbed to my addiction. I picked up pretty nice 55gal setup from a co-worker and it is up and running. It is currently sort of hodge podge with a few hang on back filters and skimmers. But it has some of the nicest live rock I have ever seen with tons of coralline algea. I have a huge old yellow tang and a very big old tomato clown. There are also 2 green chromies and a recently added copperband to battle the aptasia forest!!! I also have a lot of red mushrooms, a large leather coral and I just added a grren zoo frag, a xenia frag, and a red zoo frag. I am currently saving any excess income (I am also a new home owner, so there isn't much) to set up a refugium and sump in my basement. I also plan to build a much larger more robust skimmer to adda long with the fuge and the sump.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello, also, I may come up to the frag swap on saturday, but that is a long drive as I live down near Atlantic City. Do I need to sign up for the frag swap?

Hopefully I will meet some of you soon and good luck to everyone with your little oceans.

welcome to the forum! www.njreefers.org is the official club forum in case ya weren't aware. good luck with the aptisia battle, I found peppermint shrimp to do a pretty good job, and they are alot cheaper than a copperband.

Welcome Evan!

This is a great club to be a part of. Like Dan said... head on over to the club site.

You could always try and car pool up with all the southerners for the meeting.

Welcome to the wonderful world of spending cash, were one thing you see is more beautiful than the last and you have to have it, but since your tank is full, you upgrade, and upgrade and upgrade. Welcome.

Welcome to the club Evan. Just when you get the one piece of equipment you "needed" there will be another one you just have to have. Take it slow and enjoy the ride. :D
