I have 20g reef with 40lbs livesand and 45lbs live rock. Then for fish I have 2 Ocellaris Clowns, and Six line Wrasse. Then 2 scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp.

The clowns may prove to be too aggressive as well as the wrasse. I'd consider getting rid of them as well.

I wouldn't put anything bigger than a bluestripe pipefish in that tank. Even if they're eating frozen, I think they should have supplemental pods. Get a HOB refugium.

have a problem with my scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp bullying my bluestripe pipes. I hate that shrimp.

Yea thats one thing I wont add with my pipes, cleaner shrimp. They like to pester fish and most fish can handle but its just torture for a small, rock dwelling fish like the bluestripe that cant any bullying/cleaning behavoir. Other than that ive kept large species of angels, tangs, agressive dwarf angel species and pseudochromis. None have shown any agression towards the pipefish, even when feeding right next to each other on the sandbed or rockwork.

what species of pipes do you have? I have 2 dragonface going on 2 years, but I want to add two bluestripes. My dragonface are not bothered by anything in my tank, however, I had to give my mandarin back in 12 hours! Also, my Yasha was harassed by my yellow tang (I am having no luck getting the freakin' tang out of my tank!). The Mandarin was harassed by my false percs, tang, & Talbot's Damsel.

do you think my blue stripes will remain under the radar like my dragonface?

I think you should be fine. I currently keep my pair of bluestripes with a very very agressive coral beauty, he gives the school of chromis hell, but he could care less about my pipes. Even when face to face it seems like he doesnt even notice they're there. I also have a some what agressive little pseudochromis that ignores the pipes. Its funny, sometimes around feeding time the pipefish will even show aggression towards the pseudochromis!
