from what i have heard they are kinda the middle range coral by needs, I am going to cover my aquascape in only lps. My question is flow rate and amount of light.

My tank is going to be 7.5 gallon cube with diy cree led fixture 16 inches above with 40 degree optics i was thing 7 leds to keep some sps but what would be a good amount of light for lps only.

I have a small return pump only about 150gph return is this enough?

they make the screw in led especially for picos and you would only need one for any coral in that size tank.personaly i would go with t5 and led mix.t5 coverage is better if you are going to have allot of shading in a small tank but the pure led look looks better.its up to you.

Some LPS are more difficult that others. You very well may have to raise your fixture higher and or incease the spread of the optics or go with no optics at all (would be my preference). If the pump is 150 gph once head loss is taken into account, it might provide enough flow but I'm thinking you would need at least one small powerhead.
