hey guys , I had planned on setting this tank up for fish ect.
but I thought it would be a really cool experience to keep a bimac in this tank
I mean I know that 240 gallons of water is a good place to keep him , he will be happy
I was told that you need to let a tank cycle for abouta month before even considering getting an octopus,
is there any other pointers or freebies that anyone can tell me since my tank is so large, many people here have small tanks with octos , but mine is 240 , so any help in that regard would be great
How deep of a sandbed do they need ?
also , I wont have a protein skimmer for a long time ,
but thats ok , cause im goign to get a baby bimac and Im also going to stuff the tank with macro algae, which will help keep the parameters in check since ocots are messy
thanks
the only thing that woudl keep me from getting a octo , is me being a fraid that it would die during shipping
Im planning on getting one from ocotpets.com
ive heard he is the best
thanks
oh. p.s
i forgot , what tempeture doo bimacs like
i would like to get by without using a heater
we keep our house at around
73 degrees
