Wanting to try damsel only tank??

Ive got a 55 fresh i was thinking of breaking down and converting to just a damsel only tank.figured with enough of them in there they wouldnt be able to single out one patiular one and pick on him.Anyone done this or know anyone who has tried this?

I dont think it would work. Even if they arent picking on a single fish they will knock off the weaker ones. I had 6 damsels in a 75 when i first started and they were fighting, so I returned all 6.

ive tried it in a 36 gallon and it works for awhile. they wil pick on the smaller ones but at least in my tank once they killed off a certain number of each other things were stable for about 8 months before i moved the tank

Did you guys have all diffrent damsels or the same?

lots of different, althoguh the yellow tails got wiped out completely, they seem to be more timid
