Even though all the research I did said "comb tooth blennies are reef safe" THEY'RE NOT!!! After getting my tank dialed back in I began restocking with some very healthy sps from Grant, but I soon noticed little distressed spots all over the new coral additions. My first thought was "oh crap, somethings wrong with my perameters again", but after testing theyre still dialed in. As I was standing in front of my tank looking over all of my battered coral I actually saw my (new) blennie picking at not only my sps but my lps too! Over the last few days he's done some serious damage and I cant seem to lure him into Toms fish trap. Hopefully I'll be able to get him out before he kills something completely. Its really too bad because he's got lots of personality....but his apetite for my corals is not appreciated!

Maybe you should put the corals in the trap and use them as bait? LOL j/k

Sorry to hear man, your tank have through some sh-t lately, hopefully soon your tank will thrive again like it did in the past.

Believe it or not I used my big lobo to trap a fish that was nipping at it, sounds funny but it worked for me with my foxface. Did you dip the corals to check for pests? Stranger things have happened. Thanks for the heads up though Jake.

Sorry to hear it Jake. Not sure it would be useful, but I have a trap you can borrow, if you feel like trying a different one.

Grant- thanx for letting me borrow your trap but it was Toms trusty trap that saved me again. The problem was that I was leaving the trap door all the way open so my large purple tang would eagerly go inside and stir everything up so the blennie had no reason to go inside he'd just wait for stuff to float out. I closed the door about 2/3 of the way and within an hour he was sneaking in just enough to catch him.

Peewee- He wasnt only picking at my sps he hit a bunch of my lps too! He severelt damaged my chalices and most of my sps.....acros and montis alike.
