Watchman Goby /w White Patches

My yellow watchman goby has developed white scar tissue looking patches on both sides of his body. I recently had a clown fish and scooter blenny succumb to what I guess was ich (tiny white spots on their body) but the goby patches look completely different. There are no spots just what looks like dead skin. He behaves normally and eats regularly but it doesn't seem to be clearing up. Do fish ever heal themselves without human intervention? I would treat him in QT but I'm not sure exactly what his problem is. I've placed a very low quality photo in my gallery, but it's the best I have.

Thanks,

Laramie

Brooklynella?

Brooklynella?

It was not specified as being farm raised so I can only assume it was wild caught. However as stated before the clown and scooter blenny had a spotted look. I followed the link you posted and they definately had ich. The photos of brooklynella don't look the same as what my little goby has. He is more blotchy and not evenly covered. I'm going to give him another day and see if he heals any.
