water change system

I have been wanting to implement a system like this since my tank is in the basement with drain access. Any tips or ideas?

build it into your sump... whats what i did...

25 gallon water change area built into the sump.. i dont even get my hands wet when i do a water change

Is your tank in the basement or did you cut a hole in the floor? How do you refill it? I like the idea of the water change area built into the sump. I considered it but my sump is not really that big, only 10 gallons per compartment.

tank is on the 1st floor of my house... i tapped into the house drain to dump both my skimmer nog and water change water. my tank is 300 plus a 120 gallon sump so i need to do a 25 gallon water change every week.. check out my thread..
