Water changes: mix or natural seawater

Is that Poo? Nasty. Damm and I wanted to do a water change this weekend. How long to wait? A week? Two?

That's why I collect it myself. That way, I know when and where the water's from and not sitting in a hot truck somewhere. When you get it from a lfs, you can usually tell if the water is good quality. When I would buy it, sometimes it would come out a dirty color and then I knew it wasn't collected on an incoming tide. I wouldn't use it. It should have a nice blue tinge to the color in a white bucket.
