Water chiller recommendation

Hi guys! I'm new to this hobby and having a 29 gallons nano reef for the moment. I'm planning to get myself a 40~50 gallons display with 10 gallons sump to replace the old one. So the question is I have a 1/10 hour hailea hs28a water chiller, can I use it for the new tank ? I don't think getting a new one is a good idea as it cost so much... Will 1/10hp water chiller sufficient to cool down the water to 25/26 degree Celsius(I believe the ambient temperature of my room is within 28~31)... Any recommendations/advices are welcomed, thanks in advance ! As for lighting I'll be using AI led which I believe it doesn't emit as much heat as typical T5

You should be fine, I have a 1/10hp JBJ Arctica chiller on my 46 gallon display with a 15 gallon sump. The ambient temp in the summer is around 85F (no a/c in base housing) and it keeps the tank at 78F with no problems.

A 1/10 chiller can support a pretty big tank. I am not familiar with the model you have but my Arctica could easily keep my 90G seahorse tank down around 72 with a room temperature of closer to 77.

I agree 1/10 hp should do the job. A fan or two blowing across the water can add some additional cooling and help support the chiller if necessary.
