Water cloudy after adding some coral

I have searched on here and google. Most posts are cloudy with adding sand or rock. Really couldn't find much about after adding coral.
I bought Kego's 60 cube at the begining of the year. I made a few changes to the stand, sump, and plumbing. Took me a bit to set it up and get water in it.
Added a fish after a month and a half. Two weeks after that I put a half dozen pieces of coral in and I guess got an algae bloom later that day. Pulled coral cause a Montipora Undata started melting off the skeleton and put them back in my tank they came out of. Couldn't test for 3 days, but when I did nitrate, nitrite, PH, amonia, and calcium checked good. Water changes didn't get rid of cloudiness so went all lights out for 2 days. That did it. Week went by of being clear so added 2 pieces and was ok for 2 days. Then put in 4 more and algae bloom is back. I did leave the monti in there and it actually has started to come back. I thought it was totally gone.
Running a carbon and gfo reactor. Skimmer rated for twice my water volume.
From what few posts I could find it says I need a UV filter/sanitizer. Any body think that will help me? Any other ideas?

When you say, "added coral", are you referring to those dead pieces in your display tank? They are leeching calcium carbonate into your water. Did you cure them 1st? How long has that particular tank been set up? In the 2 pics you have posted here, the water is not even entering the overflow box. You just have it turned off for some reason? Would like to help but don't think we have all the facts to do so.

It's a new tank. You will have algae "blooms" for a while until it matures. . Let them run there course. . What was your test results? What brand of test kits? . How did you cycle your tank?

All the coral added was live and from another tank that has been running for 4+ years. 3/4 of the rock came from another one of my tanks that was 3 years old. It went from that tank to this 60. Sand was new live with a sandwich bag from my 4+ year old tank. This tank has been up for 2 1/2 months. The pump was off while the picture was taken. I just fed the tank like I had a fish in there for a month before I put anything in. I will have to look up results when I get home. I had the regular cycling alge stages in this tank like I had in my other 3 tanks, just no cloudy water/ algae bloom in those 3. Was thinking today may just ride it out without buying a uv.
