Water container for tight spot

I'm trying to find the largest water container possible that's reasonably priced and would fit in a tight space.

I'll be putting it in my fish room beside my small utility sink and I've got a footprint that's 12" by 24" to work with.

I'm hoping to fit at least 20g in the container, more if possible.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Harry

P.S. I've found a 20g utility tank that would fit but they are pricey cause of the weird shape. I've also noticed Rubbermaid makes a slim jim garbage bin but its not rated to be food safe and I'm not sure if it would bow too much when full.

I've seen people use "wrapping paper storage bins" for that. Might do the trick. Here's a pic of one, but it doesn't look like very study plastic. I think sterlite makes them too, plenty at Walmart around Christmas time, but idk about March.

I didn't think of using an actual aquarium. Might be an idea worth pursuing ... I'm just a little concerned about breaking the glass if the tank will be on the floor. I'll have to see if I can come up with a short stand of some sorts.

Please keep the ideas coming ...

Thanks,
Harry

or slip a couple pieces of 1/4" plywood around it on the exposed sides?
