Water Containers

The waste line just taps into the emergency overflow for my water heater. The water supply was tapped into the water heaters input.

Right now I'm going to try a Jebao DC6000 that I had laying around. Hoping with the variable speeds I can find a good speed to mix the salt and I like the way the pumps ramp up, since I'll be cycling them a few times a day to circulate the water.

My only concern is they are not designed to be an external pump, but I've read a lot of different posts where people have used them externally for quite some time. We'll see. If it doesn't work I'll find a smallish Iwaki or something.

Well first the bad news... note to self, don't try to use a submersible pump externally, and just do it right the first time. After plumbing the mixing station, I was testing for leaks and out of all the connections the only leak was the stupid pump...

The good news, is I put in a small Pan World pump and it works perfectly (and is surprisingly quiet, compared to the water pouring in). Got the EB4 connected and ran the 50 ft aquabus and its all working well. Also mounted the Stennar pump and just need to run the plumbing for it to my tank, test it for accuracy and I'll be done.

Can't wait to get this project completed, I am sick of hauling buckets of water and spilling half of it all over the floor... This is very wife approved -- except for maybe the price of it all, but she doesn't need to know about that :)

Glad you got it figured out. Sounds like you're getting real close to having it dialed in

I'm still a bit behind you, as my pump just got delivered today. Thanks for the link for the Stenner pump, I think it's going to work out well.

Nice pump... can't wait to see what you get put together!

I hope to have pics of the full system up and running this weekend.
