Did anyone come up with an alternative for water?

I originally used Catalina @ .69/gal, but with the report on their lead and zinc levels I'm looking at expanding my options.

I'll be needing to do something here in a couple months as I'm installing a holding tank in the garage.

FWIW, Catalina told me thet base their price more on the delivery than the actual gallons of water. They quoted me a price for what I rold them I needed, but when the truck showed up the guy just pumped until my tank was full. When I asked how much it took he eyeballed the remaining water in the truck and tossed out a guess.

I started to write a thread about NSW the other day but I got off course..I think it was one of those little lazer lights that my son was playing with that threw me off...

i just met Ron yesterday @ aquarium in motion in fullerton...he just received a 1000 gallon delivery of scripps water...he sells it for .35 a gallon...might get a better deal for larger quantities...dont know???

That's an option, but after having Catalina pull up to my house I got real spoiled real quick.

On top of that, from what I can tell pretty much all the salts seem to be lacking somewhere and having to make that up with additives starts adding up when you're talking 30-40 gals every few weeks.
