Water flow for crocea clams........

Hello,

I was wondering do croceas prefer low water flow/movement or high water flow.

Do you have your clams in area with lots or less water movement?

Clams prefer low to moderate flow. However, I have my clams in pretty high flow to the point where the current will occasionally lift up part of a mantle and they don't seem to mind.

As long as the mantle doesn't move violently, your Croce should be fine. Of all the giant clams, the Crocea and than Maxima, are best adapted to higher flow and actually come from area's with higher flow compared to Deresa, Squamosa, Gigas, Hippopus.
