Water Flow Regulator

THis might seem like a dumb question but have been looking online for a water flow regulator/valve with a meter to know gph that it's set at and can't seem to find anything like that. Can you guys point me to something on BRS or Marine Depot so I can know what the proper name is?

Thanks

Flowmeters is what they are called? Look it up on ebay. Ive seen it around. Ive never used one so I have no idea as acuracy or how easy/reliable they are. From my research here most people rely on math to get a close estimate of their flowrates. Good luck.

Gate valve to control water flow, and a flowmeter to measure the actual flow. Won't find it in a combination, but separate independent components that you need to plumb in separately.

Thanks Bill, I figured that was the case. Someone told me to just do a stop watch/phone and a measuring cup on the output. And the multiply to come up with the gph.

The stop watch and measuring cup works quite well. For the most part, that's my preferred method. Good flowmeters are pricy, require regular cleaning to keep working, and unless you really need to know accurate numbers at a glance, not truly worth the expense and maintenance IMO.
