water flow

Looking for suggestions for good water circulation for a FOWLR in a 220 gal.Want to make sure there will be very few dead spots but don't want flow to be to strong for lions.

Lions are actually very good swimmers. I wouldnt worry too much about having TOO much flow for a lion. It's almost impossible, unless you have a powerhead on every inch of your tank walls, to keep all water moving everywhere in the tank at once. The typical tank might have one or two spots that are too powerful for the lion to stay in long term, but all he will do is not swim there.

I have a 210 and use 2 Koralia 4's along with my Blueline 100 HD return pump and I have no real dead spots. The Blueline returns through four outlets pointing in various directions. I used to run 4 Koralia 4's with a little giant pump but switched so that I would have more flow through my sump. Even with the old setup I had only minor dead spots which are almost unavoidable. As it was already stated lions are good swimmers, I would not worry about too much flow.
