Water Flow

How much flow do you have going through your tank? I have several Euphyllia, Trumpet and some Merletti.. I don't want to tick off the Euphyllia too much, it seems like any time I add more flow, they start to close up.

Right now I have a 55g, with about 600 GPH..

i got about 2200 gph in my 110g i also have some euphyllia and blastos. have you tried the nano streems? the wide flow is not as harsh as standerd power heads

I was thinking about getting one of those new Hydor pumps.. I especially like them because of the magnets.. That would bump me up to about 1000 gph.. But I wasn't sure if that would be too much..

the nano streams have magnets also. i dont think it would be to much flow i've heard alot of people with your size tank have these pumps and love them. check out the lighting filtration and other equip. forum and you can find out more about the hydor and tunze pumps.

I have a hydor 2 in my 46 gallon bow front plus a rio 200 and a hob filter. I am going to add another hydor 2 or 3. The hydor koralia's are awesome!!!!

I only have experience with the Tunze Nanostreams. I really like them. They offer a nice, wide patter of flow. For LPS, flow is a bit tricky as you have to either position the pumps or the corals correctly to make everyone happy.

2 Nanostream 6025's or Koralia 1's would be great in your tank. You can position them and/or the corals so that everyone's happy....it just takes a little planning and elbow grease :)
