I've had a Reef Octopus - OCTX-200 for a number of years and I'm very happy with its performance. I've been having a minor issue with the overflow and I was wondering if anyone knows the water depth to run the skimmer. I thought it was 8" but I'm not sure. Thanks
7-9" on that skimmer. Most newer reef octopus skimmers are 6-10" in depth depending on the model. If it's overflowing have you checked the Venturi for clogs?
