water loss

good morning everyone, im trying to figure out how much water do evry one lose in there tank, because i have a 210 with 20 gallon sump 175 watt mh , and im adding water every 3days to a week

i have a 90 and lose about gallon and a half a day

I loose up to 6 gallons a day in the summer...

I don't... I have an ATO with a 70 gallon resevoir. It keeps a contant level and all I have to do is turn the RO/DI once or twice every two weeks

i was think about doing that you, you also have a float valve in the sump

I have a 55 that loses about a gallon a day with not ATO. I try to add water every day, but sometimes go as many as 2 or 3. Doesn't seem to bother anything.

ok i was making sure i wasnt go crazy, the water is evaporating realy fast, at first i tought i had a leak

You can tell by your salinity, if it goes up then its evaporation if it stays the same then you have a leak.
