Water main break in wmspt

As some of you know yesterday their was a water main break in Williamsport and you are supposed to boil your water before you use it..My question is would it be ok to use my ro/di water that I made yesterday?

If you don't have to use it I would not. The RO/DI takes out contaminents. When there is a break in the line the water is going to get even more contaminated which is why they tell you to boil it. The RO/DI is working to remove percentages of the contaminents and if the amount is increased then the small percentage that gets thru the RO/DI is going to be increased as well. So like I said if you don't have to use it I would wait it out a bit until everything settles back down.

this is crazy, cant beleive its not fixed yet...i live in muncy my ro should be ready today so if anyone needs water let me know ill start gettin jugs ready...i could have sworn yesterday i read it was ok to drink water and now it says something totally different....weird

Good thing I had over 100 gallons of RO and used that. I also used it to give to some friends. I did not turn my RO/DI system on untill they said is OK.
