Okay well I got my lights, big enough to support clams, now I need to know what are the water parameters that I need to be aware of for clams, I know the whole nitrate and nitrites and ph and ammonia, got that, I need to know about the calcium, how much and how to test and what else I will need in the water to maintain healty clams, also what kind of food is required. thanks for your help taking this one step at a time.

Calcium 425 - 450 ppm.
KH/Alkalinity 8dKH

Salifert makes good test kits.

If clams are smaller than 3", you want to feed phytoplankton. It doesn't heart to feed phytoplankton even when clams are larger than 3". You need good lightings.
