Okay i picked up a water test kit today and tested my water parameters. This was a few hours after a top off and shortly after a feeding as well.

Calcium (2 part chemical test)
460ppm

GH 180
KH 180
PH 7.5-8.0
No2 0
No3 20

This is a 8 month old tank with a few softs corals and 3-4 frags of sps.

36 gallon with 30~lbs of live rock
T5 134 watt lighting

A clown, 2 blue damsels and an anemone.

Does this sound right? These numbers dont correlate with what iv been reading.

The KH value is fine. The recommended range in ppm is 125-200. The nitrate is a bit high for some animals, but it should be fine for what you have. You might be overfeeding a bit. The pH likely is fine, too. Those animals aren't all that picky, and the range you listed is very wide.

I do have other animals

my lps are
Duncans with about 7 heads
Candy cane coral frag with about 6 heads

My sps are

a pink chalice
also a birdsnest coral frag

General hardness doesnt mean anything really for saltwater does it?

You might be overfeeding a bit.

I am feeding about a half of cube of "Prime reef" frozen food per day, that probably is a bit much now that im thinking about it, ill drop it down to a few shavings just to feed the fish and i just got some Zoplan and PhytoPlan for my stonys
