Water question

I'm having my tank drilled and sump made. I've had my saltwater in 5 gallon buckets for a week and will have to stay there till Friday. And my sand is in one as well. Question is will it all still be ok to put back in my tank Friday and start cycling???

This is without any power heads though. I do have my heater in the bucket with my sand

Well, I turn off my QT tank off and it sits in the basement for month until I fire it back up when i am about to buy some cuc our fish if that helps.

yes most freshly mixed salt can be stored for a long time (indefinitely actually)

Note: that applies to salt mixes with no organics in it.. Regular instant ocean can be stored indefinitely ... reef crystals cannot as the organics will slowly decompose over time.. but it can still be stored for quite a while..
A few weeks is not an issue for any salt mix..

you didn't mention the specifics of this sand..
But if its just dry sand that you rinsed.. yes.. its fine..
