This is a very large dual tank water softener that cost $2500 new. It can replace all minerals in the source water with either sodium or potassium, your choice, which protects the membrane in an RO unit and makes it more efficient. Can be used with city water or water from a well. The dual system means that softened water is always available and the depleted resin tank is recharged with softened water. It is controlled by water volume, not a timer so the recycling is very efficient. It is large enough to easily handle the average home, or a business. Waste less water making RO for your reef tanks.
