Water Temperature

What should the water temperature be for a Reef Tank w/ Live Rock, Coral, Fish, Inverts, etc.

My tank is b/w 76.5 - 79 degrees.

What is the ideal temp.

I read online that is should be 72 - 78. Is that correct?

I personally keep mine at 80. Heater kicks on at 79 and chiller kicks on at 81, so it typically stays between 79.6 - 80.4. I think most reefers like to keep their tank around 80. IMHO 72 is too low although I've seen that mentioned lots of places.

Alot of the older recomendations were 75-76. Seems most are running around 80 now. Which is what i do. That seems to be a more natural temp.

Between 78F and 81F seem to be the norm. Just as important, make sure the temperature doesn't fluctuate by much.
