Since my last topic/question was received so well I have another.
My system is 2 x 125g longs plumbed together into a 75g sump. Also have a 20g fuge feeding off my manifold and emptying back into sump. I would guesstimate actual volume is ~300g.
Currently have a panworld 250ps as my return pump. Return is through 3/4 sch40 PVC with a couple of 90's. I can take out the 90s and out some vinyl tube in there to increase pressure, but I dont expect that to be a substantial increase. Max head height is approximately 5' 6". According to panworld flow chart water flow is around 1800gph. So water volume turnover is approximately 6x per hiur.
I picked up a dart/snapper hybrid a bit ago. To make it work I would need to replumb my manifold due to different in/out sizes and output locations. According to reeflo's site snapper flow at 6' head is around 1800 and dart would be 2700. Main caveat here is the panworld draws 390 watts and the snapper/dart draws 94/165 ish.
So my question, and I think I already answered it, would it be worth it to replumb my entire manifold area to put this reeflo pump on? And would you put the snapper or dart impeller on?
