Water Turnover?

When talking about turnover of 30X or 50X ar you talking about from the sump to the tanks then back to the sum or are we just talking water movement as in power heads and return pumps???

Depends if you are talking about total turn-over or just in-tank or sump turnover. Most people shoot for 3-5x through the sump and the rest in the tank via a closed loop or powerheads.
