Water types..

can someone tell me if its safe to switch water in my tank,i been useing distilled water in my 24g. and i was wondering if i can start useing the water from local lfs since i only need few gallons per week i dont need to buy that $$ distilled water...can i switch water in every waterchange i do?

You'll have to test the water to insure that it's parameters are the same as the water in your tank (SG, etc...). If so there should be no problem.

ok...other then that it should be good? fish n corals wont feel the differents?

throughout my tank ive used distilled, ro/do from the grocery store, distilled, ro/di from my lfs and nothing has noticed any difference as long as the salt is mixed the same.

ohh coo...but when u did that u wear doing the water change and adding the new water right...

right, i first filled the tank with distilled and then did water changes with ro for awhile and then distilled again and on and on. basicalyl i used whatever was cheapest at the grocery store until i started going to my lfs for water.

coo,distilled water its getting little $$ and im getting tired of all the bottles in my house lol,so im gonna start switching and just buy it from local lfs...
