Waterloo Area April Meeting/Tank Tour

LOL well that one is about a 1/4"x1/4"....usually goes for around $50.00....and its encrusting so theres no stick, just fuzzy

You can write me down for 1, I am coming.

I will see if I can convince the GF into baking a cake, or monster cookies...

I have also got a good sized DIY rock that i could toss in the raffle if anyone would be interested. Plenty porus and looks pretty nice (will look tons better after it colors up)! would make a nice base. rough size estimate: 6-8"tall, 5"x5". fully cured, made with crushed coral, not oyster shell.

Sorry for my absence, I've been busy. Unfortunately, I don't think I can partake in this Saturday's tour. My kitchen is tore up and everything is a mess. I have my fridge and stove in the living room right now. Can one of you guys take pictures? I would really like to see everybody's tanks.

Sorry again, I wish I could be part of the tour.

Sure can Al I plan on taking pics of the whole event so we have pics to post on the webpage....I can e-mail them to you I get home

I picked up 3 doz. hamburger buns, some hot dogs and buns (for the kids), enough lemonade to feed an army, ketchup, cheese, etc...

Will 3 doz. buns be enough?

Make sure everyone brings lawn chairs if you have them please!!!

Jason can you pm me your cell number. We have some stuff that I have to take care of Sat. Hopefully I'll be done in time but if not I may meet up with everyone when I get done.

Also may want to post some directions on how to get to your place.

Hey thats a pretty good idea, directions help.......Well if your comming from waterloo you take Highway 20 east until the second Independence exit there should be a gas station and a walmart to your left, from that exit you turn right, we are about 7 miles down on the right hand side the address is 2873 Jamestown Ave, house sits way up in the air huge bluish shop kinda right next to it....LOL I think everyone from the Wloo area except Craig has been out here so hopefully noone gets lost.

If your comming from IC/Coralville you take 380 north to the independence/vinton exit take a right, we are about 14 miles up 150 on the left hand side, you'll see a john deere imp. on the left hand side of the raod and an older gas station we are the second set of houses past the gas station you'll run into the huge bluish shop then the house way up in the air....again 2873 Jamestown Ave.

If anyone gets lost just give me a ring 319-938-2815 is the home number my cell gets crappy tower out here so sometimes it rings and sometimes it doesn't.....well I'm looking forward to seeing everyone if anyone has any questions just call or PM....thanks Jason

Sweet thanks for the directions, I'll give you a call by 3:00 if I'm going to be late.

So it looks like the tour will be: glaspie69, waverz, loriM, UNI tank, xroads, got2lb

Does that look right?

I just got off the phone with vincejo and he gave me the number of the professor we need to contact to see the UNI tank. Unfortunately for him, he has to work.

Edit: I fogot leeweber, are we still driving down to see your tank?

Forgot about his.

That's 8 tanks! We'll have to keep the ball rolling otherwise we'll be doing this until midnight! :D

LOL everyone bring a notebook and take notes.....that way it'll take about 2 hours and we can ask questions while getting hammered
