I need some cost effective suggestions on what I can use to waterproof a metal tank stand. I know someone in the area who took his stand and got it coated with Line-X truck liner but, the cost seems a little steep. I was also looking at using something like --> EXTERIOR GRADE BRUSHABLE WATERPROOFER http://www.crommelin.com.au/waterproofing.php#egbw
but, I have no experience doing this. Can someone give me some advice on what I can use and how to apply it. The frame will be 1.25" - 1.5" hollow square metal. Thank You!
