wave box and 7091 single controller

there is some thing strange with the controller 7091 for the wave box , when i plug in the master cable of the controller into the driver the controller cannot be powered on . but it the unit work when i use the slave

any idea?

May be the master cable went bad. You can use the slave without issue...

I would suspect that the cable broke free of the board, three wires should be soldered to the board and I have seen before where one came unsoldered.

by using the slave is there any performance issues ?

No, it will work the same as long as you have the internal jumper set to synchron.
